Welcome to Ark Evelyn Grace

As Principal of Ark Evelyn Grace Academy, I am delighted to welcome you to our vibrant school community.  

We are a mixed 11-16 secondary school located in the heart of Lambeth rated “Good” by Ofsted (February 2025) who described us as a “welcoming and happy” school where “staff care deeply that all pupils achieve both academically and personally.” This reflects our mission: to empower every student to be the voice of their future. 

We believe every young person is unique, and their individuality should be celebrated. Our goal is to ensure every child feels valued, heard, and supported to reach their full potential. 

As a small school, our dedicated teachers know each student personally—their strengths, aspirations, and learning styles. Through a strong curriculum, high-quality teaching, and a culture of perseverance and ambition, we help students thrive academically and beyond. 

Our state-of-the-art school building, designed by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, offers an inspiring learning environment. Winner of the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize, it stands proudly in Brixton as a landmark of educational excellence with a FA approved 4G pitch, 5 lane running track, dance studio, sensory garden and more. 

At Evelyn Grace, we value community. Teachers and students build strong relationships across year groups, and our London Programme provides enriching experiences beyond the classroom, connecting students to the wealth of opportunities across the capital. There is no limit to what our students can achieve with hard work and optimism. We believe our students will leave us as empowered young people with a strong sense of their own agency and their role in our community.
