Our Mission
Our mission is to nurture talent for life-long happiness and success. Congratulations to our class of 2021 for completing their journey at EGA and achieving some fantastic GCSE grades that will open many doors for their future.

Sara
Ten 9s!
Sara first arrived at EGA with Polish as her first language and what was once was an introverted student then became an extrovert who flourished in everything she participated in. Sara always worked hard and encouraged her peers to do the same. Sara was an excellent student and we are very proud of her achievements.

Jayden
Six grades 9s, two 8s, one 7 and one 6.
Jayden’s level of work has been excellent and he has always pushed himself to achieve. He has remained inquisitive over the years and attempted to view situations from multiple points of view which has led to him becoming an excellent and thoughtful learner, who we know will continue to achieve great things in the future.

Hajar
Six grade 9s and four grade 8s.
Hajar has always been determined to achieve great grades and took on the role of Student Council lead because she wanted to inspire others to do the same; supporting her peers to know that with hard work, enthusiasm and a real can do attitude - anything is possible. The fantastic results she has gained are well deserved.

Leo
Two grade 9s, six grade 8s, three grade 7s.
Leo has consistently demonstrated the core values of EGA over the years and applied this to his GCSE studies. He has shown great self- discipline during these difficult times to continue to study hard and remain focused on the prize at the end of this part of his journey. His teachers have consistently stated that he has the potential to achieve great things.
Our Values

Self-Discipline
We believe that the ability to take control of our destiny has to be achieved through the ownership of our own future.

Endeavour
There is no substitute for hard work and only the persistance to learn from our difficulties will allow us to achieve our goals.

Excellence
We strive for excellence in all we do and believe that there should be no limit on our ambition and goals.
What makes EGA special?

To ensure every child can continue to learn our curriculum at home as well as at school every student from Year 7 is issued with a Chromebook tablet. This is taken home and used to access our online learning platform.

Our teachers believe every pupil matters and every lesson counts. Every teacher works incredibly hard and believes no matter their background, circumstances or ability; every pupil can succeed. As part of Ark Schools, they access sector-leading training and expertise from across the network.

House Competitions are big events at Ark Evelyn Grace Academy. Our Poetry Slams and EGA’s Got Talent are at the heart of our calendar and show each student’s pride in being part of their house, that’s whether they’re in Ashby, Brockwell, Effra or Windrush.

At the heart of our school the library inspires students to become lifelong readers. We use the Accelerated Reader service and the Lexia programme to support regular reading and to raise the literacy standards of our students.
