In addition to instrumental lessons, the Music Department also facilitates a number of clubs which are free to join. Below is an outline of the current provision:
● Mondays – Bossa Nova Club – During lunchtime
● Tuesdays - Bands - During lunchtime
● Wednesday – Choir – Lunchtime and after school
● Wednesdays - Music Technology Club - After school
● Thursdays – Brass – During lunchtime
● Fridays – Strings – During lunchtime The music department is also open every break and lunchtime for students to practice in any of the band or practice rooms.
Ark Music Network: Within the Ark Network there are extensive opportunities for students to further develop their musicianship by participating in a variety of external ensemble groups within the trust. These include:

● Rap Collective Concerts & Performance Opportunities: There are also a number of performance opportunities for students to participate in throughout the academic year.
