After several weeks of preparation, Niara presented her speech to an audience at St Gabriel's College, including the Mayor of Lambeth, Councillor Annie Gallop. Of the 14 speakers from Lambeth schools, Niara earned herself second place! She is now the runner-up for the borough of Lambeth. Niara spoke about the topic of personalities. First place went to Cheyanne Meghie from Dunraven School.
