Summer School (19-21 August 2025)
A mixture of summer fun and getting secondary ready with activities and learning.
- Dates: Tuesday 19 August 2025; Wednesday 20 August 2025;Thursday 21 August 2025
- Start time: 9:30am
- End time: 2:30pm
- Lunch: a free lunch will be provided.
- Medication: If your child has any medical conditions that require prescribed medication to be held on site you will need to bring this with you, in its labelled original packaging, you will be asked to complete a medical consent form confirming that you are happy for us to administer medication to your child should they need it.
- Uniform: Please be reminded that students should wear as much of their Ark Evelyn Grace Academy uniform as possible, if you have not purchased this yet, please ensure your child wears black/grey trousers/shorts and a white shirt.
First day of school
On Wednesday 3 September 2025, Year 7 students should arrive to school for 8:25am in full school uniform, including their bag and equipment. This will be their first full school day and students will finish at 3:30pm.
Uniform
Every New Year 7 student at Ark Evelyn Grace Academy receives a free school uniform.

School meals
Breakfast is available for all students, free of charge from 7:45am-8:20am each day.
For families not eligible for Free School Meals, lunch costs £2.30 a day or £11.50 a week. Alternatively your child can bring a packed lunch. This includes a choice of hot meals and a dessert is £2.30.
Medical conditions
It is essential that the school are provided with up to date documentation, including medical care plans, if applicable.
Parents and carers with parental responsibility have a duty to provide these details and to inform the Academy office immediately of any changes, especially in emergency contact numbers.
We only accept medication in its original packaging with a clear prescription label which can be handed in during the summer school week, or on the first day of term.
