We monitor our student’s planners every week and, when we see your signature, we know that we are supporting each other with your child’s education.

Curriculum

At Ark Evelyn Grace Acadmey, we take special pride in our curriculum. Our first priority is to build a foundation in literacy and numeracy, as this provides a gateway to all other learning. Students should be able to read, write and work with numbers fluently and confidently. Our curriculum focuses heavily on building these foundations.

For the first three years, students follow a broad and challenging academic programme. We offer an increased timetable for English, Mathematics and Science that ensures students are able to achieve a wider breadth of success at Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11). As students move into Key Stage 4, all follow individualised pathways that typically lead to between 8 and 10 GCSEs. Students may also study subjects at BTech and some students are able to undertake the ECDL.

It is essential that all children leave school with a mastery of English and Mathematics.
