Evelyn Grace Academy visits Junior Trinity

Wednesday 07 February 2018

On Saturday 27th January, 11 students from years 8 to 11 attended a VIP Open Day at Junior Trinity.  Students were given a tour of the building, originally built for King Charles as his intended residence.  Participants began the day with a special performance and talk by two current students of Junior Trinity who shared their personal stories, one of travelling from India to study as a vocal student, and another of performing in the London West End stage show Oliver, aged 7!

EGA students participated in the 4-part choir, were introduced to the double bass and tuned percussion, attended an ‘A’ Level Music Technology lesson and received individual and group tuition on the day.

All who attended had a fabulous day and shared their feelings about the visit during a question and answer session at the end of the day.  Many thanks to Junior Trinity for hosting us!  We look forward to seeing the first students from Ark Evelyn Grace Academy auditioning to join the Saturday Junior Trinity programme in 2018.
