Key Stage 4 - Year 11 GCSE Results

From August 2016, the Government implemented new GCSE Accountability Measures in which all secondary schools are now judged and held to account for their performance at GCSE Level.  There is now a greater focus on the progress students achieve during their time in KS3 and KS4 and also their performance in their best 8 subjects (Progress 8 and Attainment 8) which includes English, Maths, Science, Ebacc and Foundation GCSE subjects. 

Progress 8 = 0.01

Attainment 8 = 4.7

Average Point Score per academic entry expressed as an A-Level Grade = C-

The proportion of students who graduated at the end of their main 16-19 programme of study that they enrolled = 68%

Out of the 44 students that started in September 2014, 30 students graduated in Summer 2016 (1 student came into year 13 and graduated the same year bringing the total number of graduates to 31).

23% of students recommenced Year 12 in September 2015 and will graduate in Summer 2017.



The percentage of Year 13 students who have continued in education or training, or moved on to employment at the end of their 16 to 19 programme of study are:

97% of students have taken places at University

3% of students are on a Gap Year

77% of students accepted their first or second choice place at University

9% of students went through adjustment clearing

13% of students are at Russell group Universities
