We monitor our student’s planners every week and, when we see your signature, we know that we are supporting each other with your child’s education.

Head of PE treats 40 students: England v Malta, World Cup qualifier match

Mr Wingate treated 40 students from Year 13, Year 11 and Year 7 to the recent England v Malta world cup qualifier game. Our students had the great opportunity to witness victory for England, with goals from Daniel Sturidge and Dele Ali, as they beat Malta 2 - 0.

The purpose of the trip was for Year 11 and Year 13 GCSE students to have a reward for all their hard work and recent success academically in their GCSE results; and also to embed our new Year 7’s into Evelyn Grace. It was also a fantastic opportunity for the PE department to bond.

“We were very fortunate to take 40 students to England to watch a qualifier for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The game was Gareth Southgate’s first in charge of the Three Lions.
England won the match 2-0 with goals from Daniel Sturridge and Delle Ali to keep on track to qualify.
The students who attended had great fun and were impeccably behaved at the home of English football.”
Mr S Wingate.
